I'm pretty sure that I've read Tony Collins stating that Coventry were the last RU club to threaten to cross over to RL over payments, in the 1920's. The RFU took a very soft approach to Coventry's payments in this case, and brushed it under the carpet.

No, Nigel Wood grabs the Odsal lease to cover the unsecured debt the Bulls had with the RFL before they went into admin (sold to the public as keeping a "historic venue") What's a "market rent" for playing at Odsal ? (cue the jokes ) If the current rents were that under-valued, the RFL wouldn't be having the trouble as they are selling off the lease.

My advice is to get down early, watch the Valkyrie muller the poor Fev lasses for the 2nd week in a row, and then get plenty of drinks in to sooth away the pain of the rest of the afternoon (my plan anyway!)

Probably unfair - I expect Giants' WSL to make progress this year (and to be better than Warrington, Fev and Barrow)

Can't really comment on Hudd's recruitment/retention, but there might be a bit of a coaching gap here (as well as confidence in a team that's winning the game!)

Good post - I was going to put something similar. The Wigan team seemed to be missing a few names. Leigh had a decent dig too 36-6 against Huddersfield Cardiff put 58 unanswered points past Salford.
