The Challenge Cup is alive and well!

It’s funny “as” in Leyth today, pubs put it out they are thinking of running a coach if enough interest and an hour later are explaining they are on coach 3. Derek’s been on TV trying to cut a deal with Burnham and sponsors to put on free coaches for those financially struggling and a bloke has offered to pay for 30 kids tickets as Derek has helped his charities in the past. can’t wait for tomorrow. -
You cannot get 2 tickets together in any of the lower and middle tickets allocated to Leigh. Loads on RFL site yet folk are walking away from the ticket office and online because they can’t sit together - buying from RFL hopefully but costing the club every time they do so. Flip eck release some more blocks and KR will have the same issues soon

Leigh will have an elite academy licence in 2025. 2024 will see proper support for the academy at Leigh College and further development at 14/16’s as witnessed this season. A number of Leigh lads snapped up by our established neighbours will have chunky brown envelopes and Nando’s vouchers slipped under the table. -

Seems a renewed vigour for neutrals this season. Fax and Batley will bring a few also. -

The Leigh tickets in the first 2 tiers of the East, £50 ones, 6 blocks allocated have just 23 single tickets left and £70 side tickets completely sold, the £40 tickets are about 60% sold but the cheaper tickets in the Gods are slow selling. Plenty bought direct from RFL prior to tickets going on sale at Leigh 7pm last night also. Batley are in our end so I guess not many left at all in the East already bar the top deck. Could be most tickets ever SOLD at new Wembley for a CC final with KR sure to take 30k and will be 20k from Leigh -

Leigh started selling tonight at 7, one hour wait to get to buy but unlimited numbers once in, which is having a huge effect on pubs/clubs and families being able to sit together as a group. This could be a huge attendance the noise from neutrals is positive and the passion of Rovers and Leyth fans is huge- 37 replies

We have an academy 2025. Our U16’s played their first game last week and if we can tempt a few of our academy internationals back for 2025 we will go well. Comparisons with wealthy overseas ownership may well not be too far off- watch this space -
Just managed to stop crying thinking of those we have lost since the last big drink, and how brilliant if we could just have them back for one day. I never thought I would experience this as an adult, the guts in this club is frightening and they deserve everything they have achieved so far. Onwards to the Big Paddock.

Help needed regarding tickets
sweaty craiq replied to yanto's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
Of course he can come son, but the only tickets are in the stand opposite -
Naahh coal is what the underlings from Wazz bring them in Shawls

Thats the Upper Classes though who live in the Shires
-
Leigh’s very middle class these days, only detached new houses and sitting Tory MP.

Time for our league to step up, £50-80 spread over 10 months for the season 2 live games and a news/highlights show - hopefully hook 30-50.000, with money to stay with clubs
-
Saints spend over £1m more on the cap and hoover up the best kids Wingy and others being Leigh lads. This gives you about 35 players capable of being a SL player, we have 19 fit to pick from and are very short in the back row/prop. It will hopefully be a great game but Saints start favourites at the bookies
-
Saints rightly start favourites especially with all the missing back rows at Leigh, this is an area Saints will exploit with Leigh hitting Hurrells side on attack. hopefully a great game that is allowed to flow for both teams and without controversy created by the officials. Leigh to run out of steam and lose by 12

The RFL have done a deal to sell 30,000 top tier seats to Degsy for £1 on the proviso they never get sold.
