  1. Who made that claim mi Humble friend? Salford asked for tickets back by 4 on Friday, until Wednesday those wishing to sit had to buy from Salford and Friday pm to game day Leigh fans bought tickets off Salford ticketing. That end has a capacity of 2500, all the walkways were populated and it was a challenge to move. If that end holds 2500 then the following was approaching 3000
  2. True but if the clubs take up the capacity where do they buy from unless they register with either
  3. You need to sign up to any club to buy online. Call at LSV ticket office to buy so assume same for Saints Leigh have. A few hundred of the final batch left so sold 6/6500
  4. Any business knows that potential doesn’t pay bills just look at Leeds awful crowds as a % of catchment area. If we are to truly grow in new areas it must be on the tails of the premiership soccer clubs ie Newcastle Utd RLFC or Everton or City etc This is why our becoming a part of sporting club Man U is less painful in 2024
  5. Another Leigh East lad with ONeill. Can’t wait for the Academy licence
  6. Wigan have a 20k crowd coming up and Leigh may well break 8000 if the last game is meaningful
  7. Car parks sold out it seems, Salford Roosters or Trafford centre for us
  8. Salford haven’t faced our best attack yet, OB was at 6 game one and missed the last after the Humbles assault and HIA. Hardaker at FB weakens the centre and offers no attack
  9. Albi is a great town - far better than Toulouse for RL
  10. It’s a dump and unsafe - lack of barriers and the steps in/out are a disaster waiting to happen. Pitch is on par with Fevs and facilities are dark ages. They serve beer well and have genuinely decent fans who love their club.
  11. Just seen a bloke in what looked like a Wiggin blazer going into Dones, £20k on Wakey by 11-20.
  12. Wish I was as confident, not seen us win here for a long time. Cas are getting twitchy now Wakey are winning a few so home wins are vital and that tight pitch is hard to master playing a motivated Cas. Close game expected imo
  13. Or offer season ticket holders an early deal for the Wigan game that results in little supply being available for general sale, a few days before offer the £75 for 3 games or a £60 deal for the extremities of East and West. Once you cheapen admission you are on a road to nowhere, we will average over 7000 this season and hopefully over 8000 next.
  14. Lam knows how to keep players fresh - it isnt all about game time. He knows what each players tank holds and has managed it brilliantly. Cats saw O Donnell, Ben, Ava, Hughes and Halton missing from the pack.
  15. The pinch myself it must be a dream weird. The fact we would be top but for a couple of bad calls in games we lost is even more weird after all these years
  16. Exactly should we reach a final then we will hook the hinterland fans with heritage connections plus the locals who liked supporting winning teams in our wilderness years. The success of match day events will lead to plenty more second and third family member season tickets next year as it really is a great night out these days
  17. Will be delighted to be T6 come the next home game. Cas will see next week as a must win and if we get anything from away games at Wigan Saints and Leeds it will be a bonus. Salford away is winnable but we have the CC semi the following week and it’s played on the Sunday. it feels quite weird typing this btw
  18. Now on to the game, like most I thought it would be tight but that defence tonight in awful conditions was awesome and sickened the KRpack. Our attack is versatile and some real game breakers passing and running. Whatever happens next will just add to the ride
  19. We will average over 7000 for the season, we will be over 8000 next season more if we hit Wembley. We lost decades of fans to local SL clubs who win pots, they will come back if we continue to grow.
