  1. I could only watch the first 15 minutes before I was so worried about the game in Australia that I felt sick. He is a development man talking about the game in a Country far from home that has plenty of local commentators with vastly more experience than him and he is promoting the AFL propaganda bullcrap. Why is he given any airtime? Sorry Martyn the views versus Reponses says it all.
  2. You can see the fear in the Aussies eyes every time they play a Test match against us. No wonder they hardly ever win.
  3. But you are a "Stats man" you quote them all the time to defend your opinion. Stats have their part to play but i have seen plenty of performances where the players "Stats" look ok but the player has contributed nothing to his teams result
  4. Davo, He was brought over as a Gun forward to lead the Canterbury pack, one of the worst teams in the NRL. He has been on the Bench used as a sub and hardly led from the front in a team that is rock bottom Why are you laughing?
  5. I hear what you are saying but not many Forwards are marked as game changers. Halves, Fullbacks, Hookers and possibly Centers get attention. I doubt many opposing Coaches have him "marked" as a game changer. Anonymous I would think
  6. I once saw a game where a key player didn't do much at all but what he did do turned the game. Another example where a fringe player came on and turned a game like Ray Stone a couple of weeks ago for Parramatta. Stats are great but only valuable in some cases in the context of the outcome. If I was only guided by stats I would give this game away, its about people and personalities and game day performances.
  7. Why is he "Marked" He has hardly had a good game in the NRL since he arrived.
  8. You don't need to watch the game at all. Just base everything on the "Stats"
  9. He will tear it up, new lease of life from being Paramattas fringe player towards the end of his career there.
  10. I am sure they do. I swear all the time in the right places. Did this small time Doco need to show this? Made our game look like rough poor ignorant northerners IMO. Its what you don't show that makes a Doco good. Warts and all does our game no good in the general public except for a few Dinosaurs here.
  11. Do you have any thoughts of your own Frisky?
  12. Gav, I had/have you down as a good guy on this Forum. Lets leave it here mate.
  13. Why are you watching this thread and posting silly emojis if there is a cracking game on C4?
  14. Frisky say what you are thinking ######
  15. No. I just think it made the game here look second rate. All good, moving on.
  16. I don't know what you just posted to be honest.
  17. You can have a documentary by all means. This one made our game look small time. It focused on what our game was back in its prime to what it is now. It said we need this tour to do well to get the GB brand back up there and if it failed it would kill the brand. It failed as a tour on team selections and results. Its a negative documentary for our game. The coverage of our Players and Coaches swearing their heads off was not needed, surely on a 4-5 week tour team selections and tactics could have had more air time. Hardaker was dropped but with no reason given? That is poor coverage.
  18. Good on you Gav. I am glad you enjoyed it. I prefer a video I can watch with my family to enjoy our sport together. Not much on watching Docos with Fs and Cs with my kids and wife but each to their own mate.
  19. No, It was a rubbish documentary that portrayed our sport in a poor light. If you don't like it don't bother commenting Gav
  20. You do realise every show is cut and edited don't you? Nothing is just off the camera. If you are happy with a documentary that is full of people swearing like morons then good on you. In the heat of the moment they may cut loose but surely over four weeks there would be enough material to leave this out. It was almost a stich up of northerners.
  21. No Running at an injured player is an obvious tactic. It was the way it was portrayed in this "Doco" it was not done well. Run at that Cu*t could have been left on the editing floor. Was this Doco only meant for a limited audience. It was not something I would want to watch with my young family. Its often said that our sport is a family game but you get idiots swearing their head off at games. This "documentary" had Coaches and hangers on swearing from the sidelines all the time. Hardly a family environment unless you are ####.
  22. Not sure if Super League can attract top talent from the NRL. Its similar to the players.
