  1. Mo was not moving very well on the way home.
  2. He has been found apparently.
  3. Massive dissapointment not getting to Wembley again, but it is not the end of the world. We have another home game this weekend against high flying Halifax, sounds ominous but if we can get enough fit bodies on the field and pull off a win, we will be level on points with them. The pack can be added to hopefully with Adam Lawton, Jay Chaplehow and Ryan Lannon. As fo the backs Pons should be available. Heads up we go again.
  4. If JJ is fit we should be able to field JJ, JT, Ben Davies and Pons in the three quarters, doesn't sound too bad to me.
  5. What was the attendance?
  6. At least the ground staff will be happy, not having 2500 people on the pitch.
  7. Friday night games makes it difficult to bring the younger generation, the very generation we wish to encourage the Rugby League seed to grow with.
  8. To get funding for projects like this, you usually have to accomodate multiple sports. Hence the mention of Netball and Cricket, as well as Football and Rugby.
  9. Just watched it, and in my opinion there is more effort from the Barrow defender to force his arm around the face of Sambou. There does not appear to be any effort in a biting action from Sambou. Lets hope this is how the board see it.
  10. The social media presence of the club is excellent, however this only reaches the people who use social media. Therefore we have to find ways of engaging the rest of the populous. Maybe back to the old days of posters advertising up coming home games on lamp posts around the borough.
  11. Sean Long must have an headache every week with a 31 man squad to choose from. Although we have some big name players in amongst them who may not be available this week, I still believe their replacements will be capable of producing the goods. "Come on Oldham".
  12. Always thought Vossy was a good commentator, he has now been promoted to great.
  13. Usually a good referee.
  14. Don't think we are wanting in the half back positions, with Josh Drikwater and Danny Craven, we also have Riley Dean and Logan Astley.
  15. Cheap shot right in the ribs of Kien Tyrer. The reason they probably got away with it was he was up on all fours, so could have been deemed not complete. I was amazed that he was able to carry on.
  16. They forgot to mention Gil Dudson in our new signings. I have high hopes for us in this league, but the criteria for ensuring my support is the same as always, the team shows effort on the pitch and I will be there. Then I will live by the saying "win or lose have a booze."
  17. Both look really good.
  18. I'll answer this myself, just checked the Latics website. Athletic Store North Stand Boundary Park (Off Hilbre Avenue) Royton Oldham OL2 5BL
  19. Is the Latics shop on Furtherwood Road, or in the main stand accessed from the car park?
  20. Just watched the Boundary Line and its very positive indeed. I am not one that likes to get engrossed with off field happenings, but have to admit the media and marketing is fantastic. Think young Kieran comes across really well, and has the enthusiasm of youth to drive the dream forward.
  21. It was mentioned in the interview with Sean Long regarding the CC draw.
  22. Looks like we have an home freindly against Wigan in January.
  23. A good opener, Hornets gave us a scare at their place last season. A derby also always makes it competitive.
  24. Think it is positive with the renaming of the fan bar at Boundary Park to the "1895 bar". A date which is relevant to both clubs.
