Halifax to setup a womens team

Halifax announced on Friday at a Roadshow in Elland that they intend to have a team. Back maybe 15 to 20 years ago there was a Halifax team running out from Greetland Allrounders. Think they got old Shirts from Fax and that was it!

No idea when the new team will start or where they will play. Hope it comes off as the interest is there I am sure.

I do hope it takes off,looking forward I hope the women's game grows. I went to the inaugural women's superleague grand final at the etihad in Manchester,it was a good game with both teams showing pride and passion for the game and their respective teams.
