ON-LOAN centre Kieran Gill, whose month at Oldham expired at the weekend, has been recalled by injury-hit Castleford Tigers.

Winger Lee Kershaw (18), who has also had a month on loan with Roughyeds, is heading back to Wakefield Trinity.

Roughyeds, however, will keep hold of their third loanee , full-back Luke Hooley (19), albeit on a week-to-week agreement with Wakefield.

Shame but not unexpected.

Gilly has been great as usual, he loves Oldham and I hope he can break into Castlefords first team now, if not he knows where we are!

Kershaw has been absolutely superb over his spell with us. Strong, quick, still slightly raw yet but can certainly tackle and finish. Hope to see him back with us in the future with a bit of luck.He brought something different to the side and there was always a little buzz of anticipation when he got the ball.

Hooley, glad to see him stay with us. Quality player and lad. Does everything right and can bag a few tries and kick goals.

So farewell to two great lads who I'm sure would be welcomed back to the club at any time and now a chance for those players who have not played for a few weeks to shine.
