Eels & The Salary Cap Again?

Recommended Posts

Eels have denied recent claims they have been cheating the NRL salary cap by providing free or discounted rental properties to their players.

NSW Gaming and Racing minister Paul Toole confirmed an investigation has begun after allegations made by a former Eels employee directly to NRL headquarters.

“The allegations are serious and will be comprehensively investigated, including liaison with relevant law enforcement and sports integrity bodies where appropriate,” Toole told The Australian.

Investigations into this have yet to made. Eels have denied there have been any infringements since they were caught out in 2016.
