Southland is the region with the main town named Invercargill (pop 50,000).

Last year I read that Southland & Otago ran a joint club competition. Wonder if that is still happening in the regular winter season? Otherwise Otago clubs could be left without a competition to play in?

How many teams are there in Otago? Not enough to run a competition It seems. Maybe the 2020 edition will be the same as last year, this being a separate initiative played early enough to allow that.
