The Roosters defence opened up weirdly and Josh Papali just found a big gap and ran through to score. Roosters defence in two minds caught out embarrassingly there.

Papali looked like a decoy runner, but he was passed the ball and confused the Roosters.

24-20 Canberra

It could go either way, but given the circumstances you have to respect the Raiders and they look capable of winning this with 12 minutes to go.

I forecast a 16 point win for Roosters!

It didn't turn out to be the game that most people expected.

Roosters were massively odds on favourites to win that one.

Raiders came with the right tactics and kept the Roosters close and forced errors.

It was a well deserved win. Maybe the wet and slippery conditions helped produce a close game. The Raiders though overcame the reigning Premiers giving them a bit of revenge for last season's GF.
