Dan Payne couldn’t make it in time due to the M6 delays and BBC were unable to find a commentary team to fill in.
Dave W Posted September 11, 2022 Posted September 11, 2022 Job done. Banana skin avoided: 30-20 win means we've finished 4th and guaranteed a home playoff
RSN Posted September 11, 2022 Posted September 11, 2022 Beat them with sheer heart and character. We had 0 forwards on the bench after 5 mins yet still pulled if out. I hope we get 3000-4000 against Batley and hopefully it's on Sunday as I'll be surprised if it's on Monday due to the queen's funeral.
Ulverstonian Posted September 11, 2022 Author Posted September 11, 2022 What a season. Whatever the result in the play offs it has been fabulous to follow and personally am not bothered what happens from here on in. The money will be good though !! The bad news is I am away in Scotland from Saturday.
Left Winger Posted September 11, 2022 Posted September 11, 2022 Well done all who`d have thought play offs & finishing 4th. Fantastic stuff.
mickmike wilson Posted September 11, 2022 Posted September 11, 2022 What a fantastic achievement from all connected with the club, The BOD’s forward thinking in raising the awareness & extra revenue which in turn bolstered the squad, Which raised the bar & attendances as the club is thriving etc etc simply Brilliant
mickmike wilson Posted September 11, 2022 Posted September 11, 2022 Will we have enough forwards next weekend as we will be needing them, every thing crossed
Dave W Posted September 11, 2022 Posted September 11, 2022 This is our highest placing since 2010 when we also finished 4th; the season before the wheels fell off the DJ clown car. We've had a couple of promotions since, of course, but we were way off the pace previously. Thanks to the players, the coaching staff and of course the BOD for giving us all such a memorable season.
morty Posted September 12, 2022 Posted September 12, 2022 Brilliant season well done to everyone at the club Lee Morton Raiders have risen from the ashes
