Greetings to our friends in Batley

Every week of the season fevnut writes a blog that includes his ‘musings’ column.

Although it is primarily about Fev (obviously) fans of our opposition teams have enjoyed taking a look.

This week we discuss the issue of penalty tries and reveal a law about try scoring that we had never heard of and never seen implemented in over 50 years of watching the sport.

We also list the awards handed out last Sunday and suggest a player who deserved to receive one but was left out. Finally, we consider how this coming Sunday is a great opportunity to rectify matters against Batley, not just because of the league matches between us in 2022 but also because of our record against them in play-off games.

Thanks for the interesting blog.  If I may, two pre summer season players worth a mention are Peter Fox, who played for both clubs and famously coached Featherstone, and brother Don who also played for both clubs and coached Batley.
