Brookie
Before West Wales bailed out there was to be 11 teams. This meant one team not having a game. Why didn't the RL rearrange it? Yesterday Oldham who were due to play West Wales didn't play. Neither did Rochdale who had the free weekend. Surely Oldham could have played Rochdale

Blind side johnny
Many clubs are tenants and can't just switch fixtures at short notice. Add in match sponsorships that are already agreed and the complications multiply. WW are at fault for bailing out so late, not giving any opportunities for reorganisation. Some folk find it so easy to cast blame at the RFL yet would be completely baffled after 30 minutes trying to organise fixtures themselves. Sport, amongst other things, is a dream-world offering escape from harsh reality and the disturbing prospect of change.
