Henry Delooze

Excolt 1

Recommended Posts

Very sad news. I first saw him play in the 1967 Barrow team at Wembley that also included future Hornets Tom Brophy and Eddie Tees.  All fine players but Henry came to Hornets first and was part of the transition from bottom feeders to top 8 team. And they did it playing exciting rugby.

As Mary Hopkin said….those were the days my friend, we thought they’d never end.

Henry was a great servant to the club as both player and coach. He gave his all in everything he did and unselfishly.

I enjoyed watching him so often and he is so fondly remembered.

RIP Henry.
