Excolt 1
Sad to hear of the passing of the great Henry Delooze . A Hornets legend for me and a great coach. Kel Coslett inherited Henry’s team and began one of Hornets best periods. RIP.
Anita Bath
Very sad news. I first saw him play in the 1967 Barrow team at Wembley that also included future Hornets Tom Brophy and Eddie Tees. All fine players but Henry came to Hornets first and was part of the transition from bottom feeders to top 8 team. And they did it playing exciting rugby. As Mary Hopkin said….those were the days my friend, we thought they’d never end.
ornit4ever
Henry was a great servant to the club as both player and coach. He gave his all in everything he did and unselfishly. I enjoyed watching him so often and he is so fondly remembered. RIP Henry. 1 RUGBY LEAGUE WITHOUT ROCHDALE HORNETS IS LIKE AN UNSHARPENED PENCIL, THERES NO POINT?
