Hamer’s swansong

 

 

Former Bradford Northern packman Jon Hamer will bow out of the game in style over the next couple of weeks, in his role as Team Manager of the British Police side.

Hamer and the rest of the squad are in Florida preparing for two games, the second of which will involve the defence of the Atlantic Cup.

The Police play Central Florida Warriors at Ormond Beach on Saturday (21 November). Seven days later, they take on USA Pioneers in Jacksonville.

Hamer, who is retiring from the force in December, is joined in America by Tour Manager Mark Robinson, Head Coach Damieon Pickles and player/coach Adam Newton.
