Huddersfield Giants have confirmed that England international Brett Ferres has been suspended by the club with immediate effect.
The Giants will not comment any further than saying Ferres is being investigated by the club for what they describe as “conduct away from the Club” – but released a short statement on their website saying that Ferres is suspended.
The statement read:
“Huddersfield Giants have this afternoon suspended Brett Ferres from the Club pending an internal investigation into conduct away from the Club.
“The Giants will be making no further comment at this stage.”
