Hull FC have been dealt a big injury blow ahead of the race for the top eight, after forward Chris Tuson was ruled out for a lengthy period with a neck injury.
Tuson has gone for scans to assess the seriousness of the injury but, with just eight games remaining, it is a huge blow for boss Lee Radford, who called the injury “massive”.
“Chris has gone for a scan and we’re still awaiting results,” Radford told reporters.
“It’s likely that he’s going to be out for a while, but obviously we’ll see what comes back with that.
“It’s not the same disc, it’s a couple above it. But we’ll just have to wait and see. I don’t want to speculate at this moment in time how bad it is.
“It’ll be a massive blow to the side because over the last few weeks, he’s really finding some form and he started to show us why we brought him to the club.”
