BRADFORD BULLS’ injury woes continue as Kurt Haggerty lost another four players in his side’s 26-12 loss to Wakefield Trinity on Thursday night.

The Bulls lost Dan Russell to an eye injury while Andy Ackers hurt his thumb, Waqa Blake injured his knee and Guy Armitage his groin to make it a costly evening.

Loghan Lewis also pulled out in the warm-up after a flare-up of his continuing knee injury.

Catalans Dragons went down 34-18 to St Helens on Friday night, and they did so having had to shuffle their first-team after Léo Darrélatour was withdrawn during the warm-up.

Saints themselves were counting the cost of injuries before kick-off, with Nene Macdonald withdrawn due to a knee issue as Tristan Sailor started in the centres.

Hull KR not only lost 34-12 against Warrington Wolves, but winger Noah Booth failed an HIA – something which also occurred to Yusuf Aydin in Hull FC’s loss to Leigh Leopards, meaning both will miss Thursday’s derby.

Danny Levi and Chris Hankinson both left the field with head knocks in Leeds Rhinos’ loss to Castleford Tigers, with the former now released from hospital and cleared of any serious injury after being sent for precautionary scans.

Castleford also suffered injuries to George Lawler (groin) and Liam Hood (ankle).
