Leeds Rhinos have named a strong side for The Wetherby Whaler Festive Challenge against Wakefield Wildcats on Boxing Day at Headingley.
New signings Beau Fallon and Keith Galloway are set to make their first appearance for the club whilst ten of the treble winning side will feature against Wakefield.
Youngsters Aston Golding, Ash Handley and Jordan Lilley have been handed the chance to impress in the first-team with England trio Zak Hardaker, Ryan Hall and Kallum Watkins rested for the clash.
Brian McDermott’s side will begin their title defence against Warrington Wolves on the 4th February after a treble winning season in 2015.
Before then, Leeds will travel over to USA, where McDermott coaches the national side, to face USA Pioneers on the 17th January.
“Pre-season training has been going well and we are in a good position to name a strong team,” McDermott told the club’s official website.
“I am sure our fans will be keen to see Keith and Beau in action for the first time.”
