Mataitonga and Duckworth out for ‘up to six weeks’

London duo Nesiasi Mataitonga and James Duckworth have been ruled out for over a month after picking up hamstring injuries in the Broncos’ Super League clash with Bradford last week.

The utility backs join prop James Greenwood, who should recover from a knee problem in a fortnight, and Will Lovell, who snapped ankle ligaments in training and could be out for up to 10 weeks, on the injury list.
James Woodburn-Hall is also out for a week with a dead leg, while Joel Wicks is facing another month on the sidelines with a hamstring problem.

There is good news for the Broncos, though – Mason Caton-Brown and Matt Cook have both recovered from heavy knocks sustained against Bradford to make the Broncos’ 19-man squad, which is listed in full below.

Jordan Atkins, Mike Bishay, Mason Caton-Brown, Matt Cook, James Cunningham, Josh Drinkwater, Ben Farrar, Carl Forster, Alex Foster, George Griffin, Olsi Krasniqi, Iliess Macani, Michael McMeeken, Thomas Minns, Scott Moore, Jamie O’Callaghan, Nick Slyney, Denny Solomona, Jon Wallace.
