THE 2026 Military Inter-Services tournament launches on Friday (September 11) when reigning champions the Royal Navy entertain the RAF.
The game, at Burnaby Road, Portsmouth, kicks off at 7.00pm, with the ‘Dog Watch’ Trophy at stake. It will be preceded at 1.00pm by the Royal Navy Academy versus RAF Academy clash.
At 2.00pm, RAF Women will play the Royal Navy’s Wrenegades for the Julia Lee Trophy.
Leeds outfit Stanningley will host the second round of the Tri-Series, when the RAF will entertain the British Army. That game, which will start at 5.30pm, will take place on Saturday, September 19.
The two ‘A’ teams will go head-to-head at 2.00pm (at nearby Stanningley Park) while the Women’s sides will clash at noon on the main pitch.
Heworth, York, is the venue for the closing game, when the British Army will meet the Royal Navy in the last fixture of a two-day festival spread over Friday, September 25 and Saturday 26.
Friday’s schedule at Heworth will open with a Masters match at 6.00pm. That will be followed by Army Women versus Royal Navy Women, at 8.00pm.
On the Saturday, the Army’s Academy team will take on the Royal Navy Academy at noon, with the main game starting at 2.00pm.
The Royal Navy topped the 2025 table on points difference, the three teams having each won one game.
