OLDHAM have added versatile forward Lucas Green to their pack for the next two seasons.
A Warrington Wolves product, Green played on loan for five different clubs before establishing himself at Keighley Cougars, where he played 26 games this year.
“At just 22 years of age, Lucas has already built an impressive amount of first-team experience, including Super League, Championship and League One football,” said Oldham coach Alan Kilshaw, who worked with Green as Keighley boss.
“Lucas is a smart, hard-working, physical forward who is still developing and has plenty more growth in him. For me, the exciting thing is that I don’t think we’ve seen anywhere near the best of him yet.
“He’s got the potential to become a really important player for Oldham over the next few years.”
Green is their third signing for next season after hooker Reiss Butterworth, from Sheffield Eagles, and halfback Oliver Russell on loan from Wakefield Trinity.
