AUSTRALIAN ace Jai Field is once again Wigan Warriors’ number one as he gears up for a sixth season at the club.
And the fullback’s compatriot, star stand-off Bevan French, will retain the number six shirt as Matt Peet’s men track a return to Super League success.
The only change in the top 13 of the pool is the elevation to two of outside back Zach Eckersley (pictured), with Abbas Miski, who struggled with a knee issue last year, taking 16.
That reflects a season of progress for the former, who turned out 24 times and notched 15 tries.
Wigan lost out to Hull KR in the Grand Final, and Peet has since recruited prop Oliver Wilson from Huddersfield Giants, utility forward Finn McMillan from Barrow Raiders and centre/backrower Jonny Vaughan and outside back Dayon Sambou from arch-rivals St Helens.
In a major setback, experienced Wilson has already sustained an Achilles tendon injury which means he may not get the chance to pull on the number 21 shirt this year.
McMillan has been handed 35, with Vaughan and Sambou, whose elder brother Jumah has joined Hull KR from Oldham, taking 31 and 32 respectively.
Elevated to the squad from the Academy are outside backs George O’Loughlin (33) and Finlay Yeomans (34).
O’Loughlin, 19, is the son of Wigan hall of fame and former England and Great Britain backrower Sean O’Loughlin, now one of Peet’s assistant coaches.
