ROCHDALE HORNETS Chairman Andy Mazey reckons the addition of Glenn Kershaw to the board will be a “real boost”.
The marketing and business leadership specialist joins Mazey, Carl Halstead and Jason Wilson on the board and, alongside his brother Iain, has also become part of the club ownership group.
A lifelong supporter, he also has significant experience in sports administration, development and funding.
“We are delighted to welcome Glenn to the club,” said Mazey.
“He is a lifelong fan and more recently a sponsor, and we are sure his commitment, passion and expertise will strengthen the board considerably.
“His commercial background, marketing knowledge and experience within sports administration will be valuable assets as we continue to grow the club on and off the field.
“Glenn and his brother Iain have also joined the club’s ownership group, and their investment is another positive step and a further demonstration of the progress being made.
“Rugby League is always a challenging environment, and it is a real boost for us that Glenn and Iain are joining the shareholding group as we continue to build a sustainable and successful future for Rochdale Hornets.”
