SALFORD have signed Midlands Hurricanes prop Sam Bowring and Widnes Vikings forward Jack Bibby on permanent deals.
Bibby, 24, has made just five appearances for the Vikings since making the switch from Huddersfield Giants – after previously playing six times on loan – at the end of last season, whilst Bowring has already made three appearances for Salford this year whilst on a loan deal from the Hurricanes.
Bowring, 34, is determined to show the Salford faithful what he can do after five years at Midlands.
He said: “The inspiration of the fans and people working at the club was the main reason I signed.
I’ve seen an environment from Ryan (Brierley, Salford chief executive) and Mike (Grady, head coach) that suits me – honest, hard-working, no egos and everyone pulling in the same direction – which gave me greater confidence to sign permanently.
“I am incredibly proud to be signing for this club. From the moment I arrived, I felt the passion and belief that makes Salford special.
“I can’t wait to wear the shirt, work hard for the badge and give you performances worthy of your fantastic support.”
