Time running out for Dewsbury fans to share views on stadium redevelopment

DEWSBURY RAMS supporters have another week to give their views on the redevelopment of their FLAIR Stadium home.

Huddersfield Giants will share the venue from next season and have already begun work on the existing facilities, including new seating and refurbished dressing rooms.

Further plans requiring sign-off from Kirklees Council include the expansion of the pitch plus the installation of a TV gantry, new scoreboard and a shelter for disabled fans.

These can be viewed on the council’s website, with the public consultation ending next Monday (November 2) and Huddersfield hoping to complete the works before the new season begins.

The application does not concern their future ambition to construct a new stand on the western side of the ground.
