WORKINGTON TOWN coach Brad Singleton is full of admiration for the club’s latest retention Tanna Featherstone.
The Australian winger, 21, joined in May and made ten appearances, standing out especially in an August home defeat to Newcastle Thunder.
Former Super League forward Singleton was watching from the stands as he prepared to take over Workington from Jonty Gorley, who is now director of rugby, and said: “I remember coming away from that game and asking whether Tanna has been retained.
“He might not be the biggest player on the field, but he plays with hunger and aggression.
“He’s prepared to compete, he puts his body on the line and will do the hard work for the team.”
