TOULOUSE OLYMPIQUE have extended the contract of second rower Pierre-Jean Lima, who is in the final stages of recovery from a ruptured Achilles tendon.

“It took time, not my willpower. I have anger in my stomach and a heart full of hope. Thank you to the club for still believing in me. I will give it my all,” said 24-year-old.

Coach Sylvain Houles added: “We can’t wait to see him back on the pitch and for him to show us all his talent.”
