OLLY ASHALL-BOTT is out for an indefinite period due to a hamstring injury, Toulouse Olympique have confirmed.
The livewire, who stands atop the tackle busts chart in Super League, has enjoyed a stellar 2026 campaign so far, scoring twelve tries in 17 appearances as Toulouse have defied the odds to sit in ninth place.
But he limped off with the hamstring problem during Toulouse’s 18-16 loss to Catalans Dragons last Saturday and is not in the squad for Friday’s trip to Leeds Rhinos.
Meanwhile, forward James Roumanos has suffered a broken noise and will also be out for an indefinite period.
Both Louis Grossemy and Thomas Lacans suffered concussions against Catalans and both are expected to return for Toulouse’s clash against Wigan Warriors on Saturday, August 8.
Brendan Hands is also expected to return for that clash after spraining his ankle, but Calum Gahan is still a long-term absentee with his Achilles tendon rehabilitation.
