Toulouse Olympique v York Knights preview and 21-man squads

PROMOTED pair York and Toulouse will bid to continue their recent resurgences in the south of France on Saturday evening, with plenty at stake for both sides.

Olympique are riding high after impressive wins against Catalans Dragons and St Helens over the last two weeks, whilst the Knights have racked up a trio of top-flight wins in succession after overcoming Castleford Tigers, Huddersfield Giants and Hull FC.

York, who won April’s reverse fixture 38-14, have triumphed on each of their last two visits to the French club.

Mark Applegarth’s side have been boosted by the return Jesse Dee following an eight week layoff under HIA protocols, whilst fellow second-row/centre Sam Wood is back in contention after serving a two-match suspension.

Front-rower Kieran Hudson drops out.

Toulouse boss Sylvain Houles has also made two changes to his squad, welcoming back Baptiste Rodriguez and Ajahni Wallace.

They replace Cesar Rouge and Ellis Gillam, who has rejoined hometown club Barrow Raiders on loan for the remainder of the season.
