Warrington issue four banning orders

Warrington Wolves have issued four banning orders following incidents at the club’s recent clash with Widnes.

One person has received a life ban from all Warrington games following a previous ban while three further males have received two-year bans from the Halliwell Jones Stadium until 2020.

In a statement, Warrington said: “The club, and the sport of Rugby League, will not tolerate the behaviour displayed and will not allow a small minority to overshadow the fantastic true supporters at Warrington Wolves.

“The club has worked with Widnes to successfully identify the offenders. One male has received a life ban from all Warrington home and away fixtures following on from a previous offence in which a short-term ban was issued.

“The club would like to thank supporters for their co-operation in assisting with identifying these offenders and, for the continued support of the club and team.”
