Hull FC coach Lee Radford believes that his side must not take Salford lightly on Friday night, despite their incredible injury crisis.
The Red Devils are without a whole host of senior players, and even requested that tonight’s game be postponed after they lost yet more players following last Sunday’s defeat to Castleford.
But Radford is still well aware of the threat Salford pose – and insists his side cannot afford to lose at the KC Stadium.
“If we don’t want to get beat, the key is not taking them lightly,” he told the Yorkshire Post.
“I think Castleford did that last week, which (coach) Daryl Powell will probably put his hand up to his side doing.
“That’s something we are not in a position to do. We certainly cannot afford to lose.”
