SYLVAIN HOULES voiced his frustration after seeing “powerless” Toulouse Olympique fall to a 26-10 home defeat at the hands of Huddersfield Giants.
“That was really disappointing because that was a really big game for us,” said the Toulouse coach.
“We seemed powerless in every department and they seemed to want it more than us. That’s a hard thing for me to take.
“Some games you reflect on and think that we shouldn’t have lost that or we were unlucky, but tonight we were not in the game. The attitude was wrong which is frustrating for me.
“Losing our halfback (Jake Shorrocks to injury) was important to us of course, but tonight we lacked effort. We will work hard to change things for next week.
“For me, effort and attitude is everything in rugby league, especially when we play at home, and this was a huge game for us and so I can’t accept that performance.”
