WHITEHAVEN confirmed four more members of their squad as they returned for pre-season.
The list contains three players on two-year deals, including hookers Ellison Holgate (pictured) and Josh Blinkhorn, who both thrived last season after stepping up from the community game.
Holgate, 25, established himself as first-choice number nine, starting eleven of the final twelve matches, and ended the season with nine tries in 18 appearances.
Meanwhile deputy Blinkhorn, 19, had a valuable first taste of the professional game.
Former Workington centre Ethan Bickerdike has also committed until the end of 2027.
Coach Anthony Murray said: “After making the step up from the community game, Ellison has shown just how capable he is at this level. He had an outstanding debut season and really announced himself as a professional player.
“Josh got his first taste of professional rugby last season and, in every opportunity he had, he never looked out of place. He is definitely one for the future and we’re excited to see him continue to grow and develop in our colours.
“Ethan has built up plenty of experience at this level now, and he showed that last season with his ability to cover a number of positions when needed. He has a fantastic attitude, brings real professionalism to everything he does.
Forward Jordan Thomson, 32, has signed for a fourth season.
Murray added: “Jordan is a hugely-experienced player who leads by example. On and off the field, he’s a genuinely good person and an integral part of what we’re building here.”
