WHITEHAVEN have made Joe Lowe’s loan deal permanent.

Lowe, 24, made three appearances at the back end of last season after arriving from Rochdale, and can cover in the halves, at full-back or hooker.

Coach Anthony Murray said: “We’re excited to bring Joe back to the club.

“He came in on loan last season and made a huge impact straight away with the quality and energy he brought to the team.

“We know exactly what he adds to the group, and I’m looking forward to seeing him kick on again with us.”
