Unfortunatly I had to start another thread as the other has gone, maybe due to the fact we have 6 threads for every game we play. We have had many discussions on how to increase the attendances and so far we have concluded that the majority of adults and teenagers cant be bothered to attend due to various reasons so we are going to have to look to the next generation of supporters. On Sunday I brought my nephew to the game as his parents no longer attend and this gave me an idea, we have plenty of spare seats in the Family stand so why not fill them with nephews and nieces. Loads of young kids will attend if only someone will bring them, as I said adults dont come so I propose everyone brings a kid to the game. It will only cost the parent

Got my mate from Barnsley coming, never been to a game in his life. He prefers the round ball but has heard me on about Fev for years and wants to see a proper game.

you see, I could loan one - on a sort of loan and return 'undamaged' basis which normally is ok.

However, I have been invited to a meeting of Philosophers - a sort of meeting of minds at the "Bretheren's get together" in the last orders and for once it looks like I don't have to drive which is very rare for me.

Kellington's daftest is fetching me to Fev and my beloved is meeting me after the game for return transportation. On the odd occasion I've been in such company untethered, I can't look after myself properly, never mind a sprog or sproggette!!

I think one of the big problems is getting away fans to travel, we never really see many away fans coming to Fev, but we normal take quite a few to our away games, What about the RFL \ championships clubs getting together and coming up with a scheme to attract more season ticket holders and to improve away support by reducing gate prices for all away supporters with a season ticket, or even buy your away ticket in advance for half price or something from your club shop.

any thoughs??
