I’m not saying it works, but if you refresh the page then quickly press the X on your browser while it’s reloading, it might pause the subscription overlay appearing so you can read the article. Maybe.

Where have I been bitter? It was Fev fans complaining about York players “goading” despite Fev fans shouting and gesticulating obscenities at them for large periods of the match. But I’m bitter? Give over. The fact is, some Fev fans love to give it out but can’t take it, that’s all I’m pointing out. Anyway, I hope you do well for the rest of the season cos believe it or not, I’ve a lot of time for the people at your club.

I meant one team appeared to be much fitter in the last 20 minutes, and won despite not playing particularly well or that much better than the other, which is what generally happens in cup matches against SL opposition.
-
Yes, thanks for that. Although I did put some money your way for the reverse fixture so that evens itself out. as far as I'm concerned. We got beat, although by less than some established SL clubs did. What's your point? We're a Championship side, they're at the top of SL.

I implied it reminded me of a game where one team had superior fitness to the other, which we clearly did cos your lads were blowing in the final quarter. And considering how Fev fans have been for years, it's a bit rich telling a York fan to reign themselves in cos we're doing well.

Having watched the game back, we made a lot of mistakes yesterday, could have put 50 on them if we cut out the daft errors. The game reminded me of a SL v Championship game in the cup where the big boys tend be pretty clunky for the most part then pull away in the final quarter. Although I reckon Fev would have had much more energy going into the final 20 minutes if they all stopped waving their arms about after every tackle, it was like watching those inflatable wavy arm men things they have outside dodgy car dealers. Special mention to the Fev fans as well, there'll be some sore arms this morning. Hope they're all feeling OK after all that mean stuff our players did to them as well, all that "goading". Must have been awful.

Hopefully it’s a positive that Taylor Pemberton seemed to be walking around perfectly fine at the game today.

But it’s alright for Fev fans to lose their minds at every decision and spout all sorts at players for 80 minutes, including during the warmup. You should have seen yourselves, gesticulating at players, obscene sign language, arms in the air at every opportunity, chanting cheat and booing when anything didn’t go your way. Made a right show. Now, if any York player made an obscene gesture, if there’s proof get it reported cos that’s not on, but “goading”? Grow up.

We have not. I absolutely love the fact we aren't scratching around for players every week.
