That deadline is for players for this season, can sign whenever we want for next year. Don’t think there’ll be much more movement for this year but you never know. Mash did say in his press conference that we’re signing players for next year and not planning for anything else other than SL.

You can just say anything on there and create a rumour. He’s contracted for 2027 anyway.

I'd like to see Magic round with a totally random draw made just before the matches take place. Obviously there'd be some logistical issues with that but it would be great fun and would get the media interested.

Just 10 years ago we were getting less than 500, playing in amateur grounds and losing to Oxford. Now we’re getting 5000+ and beating St Helen’s in a new stadium that is perfect for the sport. Now I know I’m incredibly biased but this is exactly what RL needs in this country and it gives hope to all the clubs in the pyramid. If you don’t agree then you’re not a fan of the sport at all.

Other than the clear forward pass for the Sts wonder try and the random 6 agains he was alright and let the game flow.

I wouldn’t say Huddersfield have hit form at all, they still look very poor to me. I think it’s just the last two sides they played have been even worse. That win against York could have quite easily gone the other way as there was only a conversion in it plus some dubious video ref decisions both ways and the completion rate was about 70% for both sides.
