I've watched loads of games this season and it does seem like the officials are always looking to find a reason to not give decisions to the lower end sides and while I appreciate the better teams are mare adept at gaming the system, they do appear to look for reasons to give things to the higher teams. Last night for instance, ball is clearly knocked down by a Warrington player while we were attacking, ref plays on and Erwin picks it up and runs to score. Referee gives it and we all have to wait 5 minutes for them to have a reason to confirm the try. Everyone in the ground saw it get knocked on by a Warrington player yet still they seemed desperate to find a reason to give it. Cody Hunter intercepts an in an instant the referee has blown up for offside. Had that been a Warrington player he'd have let play go on to see if they score, then gone to the video ref to confirm it. Same with the Captains challenge, Sipley clearly drops the ball yet it goes their way, our one it looked pretty obvious in our favour yet it goes the other. I am obviously biased but I've seen loads of stuff like this when watching as a neutral in games with Huddersfield, Bradford & Toulouse.

Depends what you class as a “hint” and whether you were a supplier who did work for them. But yeah, they’ve not gone bust so well done lads.

There were loads of ridiculous moments before 2016 at York, too many to list, but thankfully since then it’s been mostly professional. It’s not even that hard to do, just don’t be stupid and employ the right people. If they let the club down, sack them or move them on, same as any organisation or club should.

It's a cultural thing at Cas, is it the club or the area? You can't have the club captain tonguing some lass behind Greggs on the eve of the season and it just being forgiven. Should have been sacked instantly for bringing the club into disrepute, if that was my club I'd be fuming if the club kept him on. Players having affairs with other players wives, messaging minors, bullying academy players, players mum getting chinned by teammate in a pub, top try scorer "retiring" to get out of contract, best player gets a drugs ban week before Grand Final... I appreciate these sort of dramas go on everywhere and at other clubs but they manage to either keep them in house or clamp down hard, if not the fans tend to go crackers and hound them out. You only have to look at the reaction on social media from some fans to Carr's cheat outburst, they all backed him and said he was right to say it. What's that all about? Everyone connected with the club needs to have a look at themselves and try to be better in every regard.

22 years old and he's one of the best props in SL already, I'd be surprised if he doesn't go back to the NRL if/when he leaves York.

That deadline is for players for this season, can sign whenever we want for next year. Don’t think there’ll be much more movement for this year but you never know. Mash did say in his press conference that we’re signing players for next year and not planning for anything else other than SL.
