I'll give you it from a Bulldogs perspective.
There are many of the supporters who love the guy immensely and I can see why, because the guy has a heart of a lion. His effort is usually better than anyone else on he pitch when he plays and a lot think he should be our second winger and take Sam Perrett's place.
That being said, I'm not one of them and have publicly stated on many Bulldogs forums that for all the heart he has, he is extremely limited by his size and strength. He is a constant target with the kick. He stands at 175cm which is about 5'8. You don't even have to be that good in he air to beat him. He can tackle, but put a big man on him near the line and there isn't much hope.
I do wish him luck though and he will score tries in SL. He is only boarder line first grade standard over here and there's a reason why he has struggled to cement a place in our line up. He got lucky last year and managed to have an extended run that led to a place in the grand final. He even pulled off an awesome full body tackle to force Johnson (I think) into touch in the opening minutes when it looked all on that the Bunnies were in.
All I can say to Widnes fans is don't expect too much. He's competent but his size will be an issue when you play the bigger teams.
Thank you for the insider info!!
Ill be pleased as long as he is an improvement on Patrick Ah-Van.
