  1. Anyone else doing the Origin SC competition? After Round 2 I’m 4th in my public league (out of twenty).

  3. Series level… on to Suncorp Stadium Brisbane for Game 3
  4. Cobbo in for a try to stretch the Maroons lead.
  5. Melbourne Storm (Round 16) The Match: The Storm will host their inaugural, historic Mental Health Round on Sunday 21 June 2026against the Canberra Raiders at AAMI Park. The Campaign: Anchored by the theme "Tackle Tough Together," high-profile players like Josh King, Alec MacDonald, and Will Warbrick have shared personal battles with depression and anxiety to break the locker-room stigma. Matchday Initiatives: Delivered alongside AIA Australia and Beyond Blue, the event will feature a stadium march by Storm alumni, on-site mental health checks for attendees, and charity pin sales.
  6. How important is and should the Origin head coach be in firing up the players for the game? You’d think anyone pulling on an Origin jersey would know the significance and not need egging on. They do need a plan and need to know what their role is. I ask this as a report via Code Sports claimed that Laurie Daley’s pre-game addresses lacked “oomph” and that he was too passive during training. The report cited multiple sources inside the Blues camp, all those sources being anonymous.
  7. Melbourne Storm front-rower Tui Kamikamica is unlikely to return to the NRL this season after suffering a setback at training. On the comeback trail from a health setback that saw him suffer a stroke, AAP reports that he suffered a regression at training last week, which was later confirmed by a club official.
  8. The Gold Coast Titans extend our deepest condolences to captain Tino Fa’asuamaleaui and the entire Fa’asuamaleaui family following the passing of Tino’s father, Fereti,” the statement read. “A beloved member of the Titans family, Fereti was an inspiration for his three children – Olivia, Tino and Iszac – alongside loving wife Dianne. “Our thoughts and prayers are with entire Fa’asuamaleaui family at this incredibly difficult time.” Fa’asuamaleaui didn’t travel with the Maroons to Melbourne on Friday, instead staying behind in Queensland to be with his family in Gympie. Maroons coach Billy Slater faced the media in Melbourne on Saturday afternoon to provide a brief statement, where he revealed that Fa’asuamaleaui will bravely play in Game II as Queensland aim to save the series.
  9. Returning NSW five-eighth Mitch Moses has assured Blues fans he’s ‘ready to go’ for Wednesday night’s Origin Game II, dispelling concerns over an ongoing hamstring injury as the Blues plot a faster start to the game. The Blues have named five changes for Game II, the appointment of Mark Nawaqanitawase on the wing to help cover for the injured Casey McLean, who will be replaced in the centres by Manly’s Tolu Koula. Moses was philosophical on his role in the side, admitting the call-up had given him a ‘newfound energy’ in the wake of a topsy-turvy club record this year at Parramatta.
  10. Another bye week. I was on target for a reasonable score with the right captain but unfortunately two of my players crashed out early with injuries which kiboshed my plans. One of those injured players KPP was just brought in as a likely keeper. Ouch and double ouch! Total Points After Round 15 Good luck in R16 everyone
