There must be so much untapped talent in both countries. If the NRL is to expand these would be good places to find talent to help fill the teams

Yeah that would work well. Any promising PNG players could be signed up by the Broncos, Dolphins, Cowboys etc

If they want 20 teams, for me it has to be Perth, NZ 2 and maybe another Queensland team. If the NRL want to develop PNG they should try and set up a few feeder teams in PNG to bring players into the NRL

The only way I’d like to see Perth working with the Bears is if they are a feeder club for a Perth based NRL side

Yeah that makes sense. Community clubs are run by volunteers. The challenge is to get more volunteers in an area where a lot are new to the sport then. Not sure what could be done to do that

Is it just a lack of money that’s the problem? Obviously a strong junior game is the base for growing the game in the South. Is there any way clubs like Hemel and Skolars could work together to develop the junior game in and around North London/Hertfordshire?

I think I read somewhere that Riley Dean was playing well in the Queensland Cup. Any chance he will get a shot in the first team at the Cowboys?

Is Lewis Murphy injured at the moment? I couldn’t see his name on the NSW Cup team sheet

Where did it come from before? Maybe if they get an improved TV deal next time some money can be put aside for central funded academies with junior development in those areas.

Looks like there’s a lot of good things happening in the US. Hopefully these four conferences can continue to grow and maybe more can be added in places like the mid west

When you say he’s comp do you mean an English NRL comp or UK clubs joining the NRL?

I posted on the Skolars thread that it might work if SL clubs used the money to align to a specific area of London and develop the game in that area and maybe even an academy. Group junior clubs closer together rather than the length and breadth of London
