  1. Why is it a mythical notion to want to have all teams in the top league competitive? I think it comes down to what your definition of what "competitive" means, all it really means is that any team could beat any team in the league. By definition in a salary capped sport we should have a league that is competitive top to bottom, but in reality we don't. Currently we have Salford who aren't competitive in the slightest, Huddersfield that have started to become more competitive and Castleford that are again very 50/50.
  2. SS+ is the streaming platform, but it also has a channel that you could flick past if channel hopping as well.
  3. Dodd had his roughly 25 minutes on the field, thought he looked ok. Didn't look out of place, I thought that out of all of Souths kicks he provided two that actually caused some issues for Penrith unlike the rest of the kicking game this morning. But yes, Souths are awful
  4. Dodd has got onto the field with roughly 25 minutes to go after the hooker has gone off for a HIA. I'm not sure if Humphreys just doesn't like Dodd as he hasn't touched the ball yet in the few sets they've had and Humphreys going the other side every time.
  5. I imagine it would have to be Wellens, I can't see Briers having that pull in the club/team at this point. I can't blame Lomax or other players for extending their careers in the sport, the moment they retire their salary falls off a cliff, especially for someone like Lomax I imagine.
  6. The London junior keeping him out off the starting line up
  7. Can only do so much with Lomax leading the team around I imagine
  8. Fletcher is how I imagine lots of people on this forum would be if they tried to play this game.
  9. Even big developers have lots of issues on launch for many of their games, It's just about how quickly they put patches out to fix the errors that usually shows the difference in studio sizes.
  10. Why would you have doubted that they would have come straight back down? They didn't even have the money to spend to get promoted in the first place.
  11. Why would it be? They're a cycle ride away in distance from the heartlands, I am not sure what there is to suggest they would be "more fertile ground"
  12. Definitely within the foundations of our sport to see a rich man and decide he can do no wrong has he has money. Sounds like Rugby League, the true establishment sport, definitely the sport I love. My god the arguments on this thread go beyond irony.
  13. Or they spend even more, still lose and aren't around anymore as a club.
  14. Most kids learn Stand by Me in school, well I certainly did, so it is a good "anthem" to choose
  15. In general their attendances are towards the higher end of their division, renaming them to some generic umbrella place would attract no one
