  1. Its a brilliant day out especially if you are lucky enough to see your team win which Wakey should do.
  2. That means I fully expect us to be locked out of the stadium by Monday.
  3. Really good game. A few too many errors and Leeds probably just done enough to edge it at the moment but a really good battle. Think the ref is having a really good game too, letting just enough go and done well to pick these poor play the balls up.
  4. On the sportsman this game in 15 minutes for anyone wanting to watch.
  5. Its analytics and all about it been easier to defend your goal line than it is to defend from 20-30m out. Throw in the opportunity to get the ball back if you have a very good player able to drop kick with any accuracy and its not as stupid a play as some people make out.
  6. The tight pitch should help Bradford in this one. I think Wakey will be comfortable but I don't see them putting a huge score on Bradford. I can see Bradford beating the handicap.
  7. Didnt think they would bridge the gap this year but the gap looks bigger than ever at this point. They made some decent signings but they are way off the pace.
  8. Well a million pound would go a long way at this point. ShuddersFax.
  9. I remember been pretty young and devastated when Greg Austin left Fax, further devastations down the line when Karl Harrison left and the Chester and Clinch. Micky Higham must be up there as well.
  10. Im confused by what you are saying. If the council offload the Shay to a 3rd party(There are no other interested parties BTW) then neither team would be running the stadium. Again if its a 3rd party running it the both of the clubs would be working in partnership with that 3rd party rather than each other. I can't see anyone buying the Shay, you have nearly a 1m outlay just to get the pitch so it is fit for purpose and the reality is that the 2 clubs combined only bring just over a couple of thousand fans in each week. There is more a chance that the longterm outcome will be the land is sold and both teams make alternative arrangements as to where they play.
  11. This 100%. I can't understand why when a player is forced to take a voluntary tackle any defender would touch him. The attacker can't get up and run because its obstruction and this is why it either is obstruction or not, we can't have a "meh its obstruction but not bad obstruction so we will let this one fly" rule.
  12. 53k and looks like the new board took over and simply decided to stop paying the rent. What a shambles. At least they got to wear their brand new suits at Wembley while all the time the club was going down the pan. Might explain the state of our squad for this season and why players keep asking to leave.
  13. That obstruction rule certainly one of my pet hates. Clearly no obstruction but he is required to break another rule and take a voluntary tackle.
