  1. Yes I initially did not spot the late hit either. Great thing about FB live is that you can rewind and watch something again, then go forward again to the live spot. I did that a few times, then by the time the scrum packs down, play resets, you have not actually missed any action. "Throwback the the 5m era" is the perfect way to describe them actually. I see loads of potential in the Dutch side. They have all the skill, speed and size in their team to go all the way. However.... their completion rate was terrible and I believe a better team, like Wales, will punish that. Will be interesting to see, they play Ireland now on the 18th of May.
  2. Harsh, I thought the (Serbian) ref had a great game! That sin-bin was for a blatant late shot about a minute after she had passed the ball. The sin-bin in the first half was because she pulled her down by the ponytail. The forward pass at the end, I agree with you, looked ok to me. Very enjoyable game, anything but clinical! I would even recommend going and watching the replay, you will enjoy it!
  3. Ok, I do not know the ins and outs. But the fact they are still around 6 years after dropping out of League One is also somewhat a success in itself.
  4. I follow Hemel Stags on social media. They seem to be a great example of a club that smoothly transitioned back to being amateur and look like they are doing well. I do believe they own their ground AND clubhouse/bar though, so I suppose are far more financially robust than the Skolars are. Edit: and also seem to have an U16s team this year.
  5. I would be very interested to hear any updates regarding the game in Japan. As for the matches in Sydney, I'll pass. There are over a dozen "countries" doing the Sydney thing, some of which have no real desire to actually establish anything in the homeland. I hope Japan is not in that category.
  6. Ok, those are all fair reasons. I wonder if the local fans will look at it that way though (hopefully not). Let's hope tickets go on sale soon and they have 2 full months to push sales.
  7. Sorry but can someone please explain to me why 10,000 in Toulouse for France vs England seems so unrealistic? The million pound match in 2021, Toulouse vs Featherstone attracted 9,235 and they had only 8 days to to promote the match! Now this England vs France match has been announced 2.5 months in advance and also coincides with FFRXIII's 90-year anniversary celebrations, so I believe they will be looking to heavily promote the match. I also think 1000+ England/Featherstone fans travelling over is not too far-fetched either. Time will tell I suppose.
  8. From scratch? Is there a chance you are confusing Wales with Ireland/Scotland?
  9. Am curious about the mid-season international in Toulouse. Is 10k a realistic target for that one?
  10. Sounds like an interesting one: https://wrl.wales/richard-hibbard-appointed-as-chief-executive-officer I had not heard of him as I don't follow RU, but he seems like he was quite an accomplished player and now businessman. Let's hope he goes well!
  11. £8,821 was raised in the end it seems. Sounds like it was to clear existing debts, by the sounds of it. Let's hope it was not all done in vain and something can be done to save the club and secure their long-term future.
  12. "keeping the flame alive in Chile"? Yet all the article talks about is their activity in Sydney and their intent to do even more future activity in Sydney. SMH.
  13. Ok, but would the runners and joggers need to get a "license"?
  14. 1 million people actively involved in sport, in a region with a 6 million population does seem disproportionately high to me.
