Doesn't take a brain surgeon to realise things will be tight for a newly promoted club who are running 2 full time teams (plus Valkyrie), on half funding with only 3 months notice. It would be more of a surprise if everything was going perfect and Clint should be doing all he can to get further investment in anyway, regardless. Nothing from the usual media who are all over everything, just a couple of Twitter accounts with no followers talking rubbish and not replying when challenged, now amplified by a London fan who's spread it to these boards in the hope he can fuel in even more, which he's succeeded in doing. I can set up a Twitter account now and say literally anything and people will believe it, there's no moderation whatsoever on that cesspit. Only rumours I've heard is people talking about these rumours and saying there's rumours and it seems some are desperate for there to be some drama. Stuff like this always happens when a club isn't winning, if we'd have beaten Bradford there'd be nothing.

Plus the Valkyrie and New York. I’d like to think these rumours started by random Twitter accounts of Cas, Bradford and Huddersfield fans with about 3 followers each turn out to be rubbish. It still unsettling though, but that’s what they’re hoping for. You’d think if there were any truth in them then the agent earpiece journalists would be all over it.

That was a thread to discuss the merits of feeder clubs in the Championship, and the tweet was a catalyst for it, that’s all. But I can see your point.

I’d say it’s a discussion forum and not so much a place for spreading malicious rumours made up by Horny4Cas01 or Town4eva on Twitter, but maybe I’m a bit fussy where I get my info from.

And you starting a topic on here has now spread to the York forum which will spread to Facebook which will then be on the terraces at the weekend. I’ve already seen some fans asking when the club will make a statement. Still, if it helps London get in then great.

Was only last week some Cas fans were saying they’d had to pay a transfer fee to a York to keep one of their own players for next season. Now we’ve got no money and are in special measures. Must have spent that transfer fee quick then.
