Agree. I’m going to make an outlandish call here… Ollie Field will get picked to play for England at sometime in the coming seasons. If memory is correct think the last York player to get a call at GB level was Corgi Horton but he had to withdraw with an injury?

Massive congratulations to Clint, Neil, Mash, Chris, back room staff and all the players. No more than we deserved. The club is in safe hands and Clint has done a marvellous job in steadily building over the last few years. he had a vision and he’s has delivered on that vision for both the men’s and woman’s sides. He is a very shrewd businessman. If you’ve not seen his podcast on Rugby League Ousiders on YouTube I suggest you go give it a watch as the man talks total sense on his vision not only for the club but for RL in general. I must admit to a few tears been shed this morning as I’m sure many more were amongst so many other supporters of the club. Going to be a tough and rollercoaster of a ride but at least we’ve got the knowledge we’ve 4 points guaranteed with two wins over the Bulls to be enjoyed as per normal. Happiest of Happy Days.

How the hell can they make that much profit in a year. Books cooked. As for the stadium it begs belief. I’ve nothing against the Bulls (well, a little) but it all looks dodgy. Odsal is a hole, how in 2025 is it fit for purpose and a shining light in the SL portfolio?

Not posted on here in a lifetime but I’ve been reading and observing from the side. Really struggling to workout how the hell Bradford are 10th and on 14.81? No offence to them, they’ve played the system, been very active on SM through the game caller and other RL based sites who seem to have been bulling them up for the last 5 months but where have their points come from? Odsal is a hole and not fit for purpose, they’ve been in the Championship plus league 1 with us so performance based it’s no better than us? I fail to see where they’ve scored high? Yes, development side, yes they get decent crowds but they’re double the population and more of York so the crowd side doesn’t stack up. Good luck to the Bulls, you sort of knew as soon as Woods was back there it was a nail on they’d be in SL. As for us, I heard two months ago that winning the GF was massive for us as it would see us probably sneak in. Those 0.25 points really could be the thing that comes back to haunt us. I’ve nothing against Toulouse or London but surely if we are to look to a new future then opening up to a couple of new teams in Toulouse and York would be a good move? Yes? Horrible feeling with Lockyer in at London and Hetherington there and the RFL hell bent on making London work again we might get shafted. Please someone tell me what the IMG scores really mean and make it work for me in my head as I’m at a loss to work it all out? The big fear is if we don’t make the cut a lot of our signings we haven’t revealed ‘contract length’ which sets my mind working out if it’s all dependant on our SL nod. Whatever, the next 24 hours will tell us all we need to know but I must admit that I’m not expecting good news now.
