CASTLEFORD TIGERS forward George Hill could miss the rest of the season with a broken arm.
The 22-year-old hasn’t featured for Castleford this year, playing twelve games on loan for Keighley Cougars until being recalled last month.
Shortly afterwards Hill suffered a fracture which is set to keep him out for between ten and twelve weeks.
Meanwhile, Fletcher Rooney is still several weeks away from a return.
The young fullback has been sidelined since late February with a hamstring injury which required surgery.
He was initially given a three-month timeframe, but Castleford say Rooney will not return to action for another three or four weeks.
Mikaele Ravalawa, whose inconsistent start to the 2026 season has been well documented, is currently sidelined with a knee injury and isn’t expected back for at least two weeks.
Joe Westerman remains unavailable following concussion protocols and is expected to return within two to three weeks, whilst Liam Hood is recovering from a neck injury and has a timescale of four-to-five weeks.
