As reported in Monday’s League Express, it has been announced that Warrington Wolves winger Chris Riley will remain on loan at the Wildcats on a week-by-week basis.
Riley joined the Wildcats on an initial one month stint at the start of March, making his debut in the win over Catalans Dragons at the Rapid Solicitors Stadium.
He has appeared four times in Trinity colours but did not feature in last week’s Tetley’s Challenge Cup tie against Leeds Rhinos to ensure he wasn’t cup-tied. He will be available for selection for Friday’s trip to Headingley Carnegie.
It is a huge boost for the Wildcats, who are on a horrendous run of form at the moment. With the experience and skill of Riley in the ranks for the immediate future, Richard Agar has been handed a big boost.
