  1. They've got all the right elements... just not in the right places.

  2. Imagine having these as your colours and thinking they weren't good enough.

  3. I think the club has been trying to manage fans expectations by talking about building for the future due to the funding uncertainty. I think next season will be more about stabilizing the club rather than pushing for automatic promotion but it depends on all the other clubs recruitment as well and their financial strength.

  4. Yeap, the bands across the chest with the sponsors logo on the blue would have looked a lot better for me.

  5. In the handful of games when Brendan was injury free he was excellent - three man of the matches in the first three games if my memory serves me correctly. Can’t wait to see a fully fit Brendan pulling the strings once again.

  6. Nah I'd say they're more Cas amber than they are Cas neon orange.

  7. He played for Sheffield so the only way is up after last seasons league tables, I'd be excited if I'd played under Tubby then going to play under Ford.. Going from playing in a borrowed stadium hitching up your caravan every 2 weeks to playing at your gaff... So he's excited is he

  9. Think the KR jersey is ok. Don’t think the hoops are necessary to be honest. Having them so low down just doesn’t have the right aesthetic for me. Either put them in the right place or maybe just don’t bother. Proportionately I think the hoops look a bit too big also. In the first lock down I did a few designs of team kits, though never posted on here, maybe I’ll take another look at doing some for 2022.

  11. Think of made in Leeds channel on UK TV, you have to look and really want to find the channel to find it, it's hidden amongst the other hundreds of channels only people who are interested in the certain subject watch, it covers the Occitanie region on TV, it's also on the internet.

  12. I agree, we need another couple of older heads. I can see why there appears to be a wholesale clear out, last year's squad just didn't cut the mustard. New young blood can't be any worse. But they need on field guidance. Ridyard is one but we need two more players who've been round the block.

  13. Aye, totally agree. We also don’t need the 2 small white hoops either - was never part of the 1882 design. I get why they’ve gone for red with a blue band as it’s our 140th anniversary next season, but don’t think this is a great execution.

  15. Gingdong.... an occasional poster... quite oft banned from this forum, has some pheasant, partridge and duck for me. I've got a rabbit and a couple pigeons. The lot are going to be braised off, pied up and shared out. I love game season.

  17. Have to say I don’t know how Cas get it so consistently wrong. Horrible yet they have or had great colours to work with and they have a tiger for a moniker, a tiger!!! It doesn’t get cooler than that yet Cas continually make their kits look truly cheap with the odd exception.

  20. Last season there was talk that the Vià Occitcanie television based group in Toulouse would cease coverage of the games. Maybe a take over being inacted. So it's great news to see they are back still on board. There streaming is of quality I think. FCL-Carcassonne first up week after next will get the competition firing.

  24. How many teams get 3000 never mind 5 ? Trouble is now a days there's much more to do and a lot of people will not go to RL because they know there's very little chance of getting in SL and i include every team in that.

  25. As I see it Coolie it would have been a lot less bother if your 200plus fans relocated to Post Office Road and watched our up and coming stars rather than poaching them

  26. By 'eck tha talks some ###### Coolie. The guy played for Australia school boys in 2012. I'm pretty sure they check documents before you play representative rugby rather than just let you turn up willy nilly. On another note - Ross Peltier isn't a bad signing for you guys. He's always looked strong whenever I've seen him play. Stands up well in the tackle and can be a bit of a handful near the line.

  30. Guilt BBC - excellent Scottish series set in Leith. All 4 episodes of the first series and all of the current second 4-part series showing also on IPlayer. They are well written by Neil Forsyth, well paced and acted. A repeat viewing of the first series may be needed as the two are 2yrs apart because of Covid and the latest has some character changes. For the 2nd series, I experimented with subtitles (!) as I didn’t wish to miss any of the superb writing. In doing so, this provided a bonus brief pop-up caption of the titles/artists featured on the excellent soundtrack, all without spoiling the film. Enjoy.

  31. trouble is brooksy with what is going to happen with the new structuring. oldham among a few other clubs have not got much of a future.the 2022 season it will see the end of a few clubs. those finishing near the bottom of champ.1 will be culled, oldham have no ground of their own/no money/and very few supporters left.
