Ben Reynolds back at Fev on an 18 month deal just a few months after KR paid a fee for him. Some stash collection he's built up recently.

I initially felt like that too until I heard he's already signed for Huddersfield next year. He'd be a cool addition no doubt but pretty pointless for just six months, especially while Wakefield walk it this year.

First game I likely attended was York 24-20 Featherstone on September 2nd, 1987 (I would have been 3 months old at the time) The first game I can vividly remember attending was Batley 5-10 Doncaster on April 24th, 1994.

He was chilling with the non-playing squad members at Fev last week, and he's a big lump of a lad!

What happened?

One York fan, who has been identified and hopefully dealt with in the strongest possible terms. A lifetime ban would be a good start. Maybe reduce it to a 3 year ban if he agrees to a face to face apology and completes an intensive E&D course.

Rocks & diamonds for York so far. Hit a bit of form recently but need to stop giving good teams big head starts. We're a big prop and a good centre short of being a top 6 Championship team.

Can't argue with any of that mate. I thought Bailey and Field had decent games.

Another baffling decision made by the club. Of course the Knights are the only club kicking off at 3pm on Sunday. Thats going to affect the attendance badly I fear.

Sending Taylor Pemberton to Newcastle has absolutely rattled me. He was our best player in May.

Thats almost certainly the case yes. I hear he's going to Huddersfield next year, so I'm ok with York missing out this time.

He's still only 23. His best years are ahead of him with the right coaching and club culture. From what I've heard he'll be back in Super League with Huddersfield next year. A full pre-season with Ian Watson or Nathan Brown () should hopefully get him back on track.

I was disappointed that York missed out on Franklin Pele, but after seeing he's only signed for Bradford for 6 months I'm less so. If that's all he wanted then fair enough, and I understand why the Kneets would look elsewhere. Wakefield are going up this year, so 6 month superstars are pretty pointless.

He's gone to Bradford.

Catalans were rightly protected from relegation for their first three seasons. I only wish that Toulouse were offered the same protection.
