Rubbish yesterday, 15 decent minutes at best. Hingano looked good when he came of the bench and it seemed like we were going to kick on with Ronan & Daley going well and causing issues for Donny. Halftime came too early cos we'd have scored another couple if we'd have had another 5 minutes. Instead we come out having learned defensive techniques off Newcastle. Got beat on effort which was disappointing, both second rows made some shocking defensive reads and were very poor when both have looked fairly decent normally. Hopefully it's just one of those days cos I'm not watching stuff like that every week. We need to improve ten-fold for Toulouse otherwise it'll be embarrassing. I know I don't know what I'm on about as I'm just someone who watches about 10 games a week but I can't get my head round why you'd play a player who's played full back in about 300 SL games at half back, a winger at full back and an international half back at loose off the bench. Plus a player who hasn't had a proper pre-season on the wing in his first game for 6 months, all while sending a full back and a centre/winger to Newcastle. Myler or Harrison at full back, Hingano partnering Williams in the halves, Brown on the wing, Ward in the centre. Special mention for all the fans, outstanding support again.

15% of nowt is a lot less than 3% of loads. You could get a 3 bedroom house in York for 20k in the early 80s, 3 times the average wage. That same house is now 400k, which is about 12 times the average wage. Didn’t get maternity or paternity leave cos it wasn’t needed, the wife generally didn’t need to even have a full time job.

They do. So that's why you can't lump all pensioners into the same bracket of being poor and charge them less as it's not fair and there's no way of means testing an entry ticket.

The pensioners I know are wealthier than most working people, mortgages are paid off on the house they paid a pittance for and they've got some nice pensions. Why should I pay more than them to get into a rugby match? Under 16s should be free throughout the sport to encourage new supporters and families, everyone else should pay the same.

New lad is about the same size & weight as Tyler Dupree. 6”2” and 16 stone. As a comparison second rows like Liam Farrell & Joe Bachelor are about 15st and 6ft. Still not as big as Tom Lineham though…

Who would owe a Rugby League club large amounts of money other than sponsors? And if that's the case what if they don't get paid in enough time or the sponsor goes bust, do the players then not get paid? Can't run a club or business like that. Never looks good when clubs put out statements like that cos we all know what's next.

I thought it was for gobbing at the ref as he seemed to be talking to him for a while before he got the card out. Pretty poor to get 3 yellows in a half for late hits though, needs work does that.

Our discipline was awful, seemed like we had more penalties against us and cards in that first half than we had all last season. Does my head in when players waste their energy moaning at the ref like Jesse Dee did, whether he's right or wrong he isn't changing his mind so just shut yer gob. Sheffield always play to wind up the opposition and milk penalties, so we should be wise to it by now. Still, ref's do need to let the game flow a bit if at all possible as that's what we all pay to watch and the lad did anything but. Even when he was giving numerous penalties against Sheffield, people were getting fed up. Easily the worst game I've been to in years as a spectacle, felt especially bad as I'd been to Wigan on Saturday night. Like eating a bag of cold chips out of a bin after dining in a Michelin starred restaurant the evening before. Serious improvement needed for next week.
